Check Your Emotions

Dear Beautiful,

Today I am writing to you to tell you to check your emotions! As woman God designed us as emotional creatures. Though emotions can be an added benefit to our lives if not checked properly it can truly hinder us. Ecclesiastes 3: 1 says that “there is a time for everything,” this includes emotions. Sister you are too beautiful to allow your emotions to move you from the positions that God has designed you to be. Do not allow your emotions to create detours through the desert rather take your emotions captive and train them to follow the road that God has already laid before you. You are too beautiful to be emotionally ugly, allow God to heal your hurts and your pains. Allow God to strategically position you in the places he has designed for you to be.

Oh, beautiful as God moves you into that position refuse to let anyone move you out of that position! Do not allow the emotional instability of others move you from your place of emotional stability. My new favorite phrase is “that ain’t got nothing to do with me!” Remember that because people will try to make you carry their baggage do not accept it stand firm. Go to the father and stay in the closet until you feel peace to come out.

Finally, beautiful, do not allow people to talk you out of the places God has called you to be! Keep your ears closed, your heart opens only to God and do not forget to keep his praises on your lips! God is trying to take you to a new level, and you do not need to obtain unsolicited Holy Ghost advice to get there. Seek advice from the father and allow him to confirm it. Do not accept what God has not given you. Follow him and create space for him to move. This may mean that its time for you to walk away from some people and things that are hindering you from the places that God has given you. Remember that God has your back and you do not have to worry! Seek his face and watch what he does for you!

A Prayer for Today

Lord keep the hearts of all who reads this. Teach them to follow you more than they follow others. Teach them to run to you with every desire more than they run to other person. Lord help them to check their emotions at the door and to turn their face to you always. Lord help them not carry the emotional weight of others and help them to block out all things that are not of you. In Jesus Name Amen!
